Rihana might not have an album out yet but she recently released a new addition to her Fenty brand, and this time, it’s a skin care line! So I’m here to tell you everything from the ingredients to her inspiration for this line and if it’s worth purchasing!

In a zoom meeting with a variety of beauty editors, Rihanna herself admitted that she has experienced insecurities with her skin. From hyper-pigmentation to sensitivity, she has encountered her own issues with her skin.

Who doesn’t love ethically sourced skin care products? The three different products on the Fenty Skin line are all 100% cruelty free and range from $25-$35. On the official Fenty Skin Instagram, Rihanna explained that it was most important to her to “have a product that worked for everyone [as well as] the best ingredients [that] didn’t cost a lot.”

TOTAL CLEANS’R REMOVE-IT-ALL CLEANSER

Who needs makeup wipes when you have this? The “2 in 1 make-up cleanser” gently lathers your face to leave a refreshing and cleansed. Rihanna stated, “washing your face is the most important step for good skin.” If your looking for a daily cleanser that will wash away your makeup or sweat without striping your skin, look no more!

FAT WATER PORE-REFINING TONER SERUM

On the topic of this toner serum, Rihana commented that, “[she’s] never used anything like it before. It’s a combo of a toner and a serum so it’s a multitasker, like two products in one.” I must agree with her, even in the name “fat water” is nothing I’ve ever heard of before. Only being $28, this toner serum contains antioxidants such as green tea and fig. The cactus flower in the product as well, is known to help hydrate one’s skin.

HYDRA VIZOR INVISIBLE MOISTURIZER BROAD SPECTRUM SPF 30 SUNSCREEN

The misconception that black people don’t need sunscreen was one of the reasons Rihanna wanted a lightweight sunscreen that would work for all skin shades and types. It’s important to protect yourself against UV rays and this moisturizer with SPF 30 does the job. This product, as well as the others, is vegan and gluten-free. It’s pink-tint cream gives the sunscreen invisibility for all skin tones and no chalkiness either!

We can definitely say how Rihanna has made the skin care world so much better by adding her own line to it. Already a successful business women, she has inspired many of us to pursue the same field and career path. If your looking for a collection of skin care products made by RiRi herself, you can find the links to her website in the names of the products above. You might have to wait until they restock, but it’s definitely worth the wait!
