A biographer has recently claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘fell out’ with Victoria and David Beckham after Markle was afraid that the power couple would upstage them.
The feud started back in 2018 after Markle feared there would be competition within the media, as well as disliking the friendship between David and Prince William.
A more personal reason between Victoria and Meghan was allegedly to do with the lack of free clothes and accessories – if any at all – that Victoria had been reluctant to gift Meghan, despite this being against palace rules anyway.
It seems as though the rumors and allegations were made against the Royal couple after a rough few months in Hollywood, and the parting of ways with Spotify and other networks over the past year.
Mr Bower, the biographer, has said that to build a relationship with Markle, Victoria had given the Duchess makeup advice, and become friendly with each other, yet the Royal couple were under suspicions that the Beckham’s had leaked stories about Meghan.
When Meghan and Harry got married, the Beckham’s were invited to the ceremony but were not invited to their wedding dinner, according to Bower however, the stars that did attend the dinner ‘were not friends’ of the couple, which made the lack of invitation that more insulting.
Throughout the years where the feud spiralled more, David attended many of the couples’ events, such as the Invictus Games, where according to sources the Prince didn’t come in to contact with the footballer once.
During this time, the couple also spent their time searching hate comments of themselves, and therefore was ‘not prepared to tolerate anything flattering regarding the Beckhams’.
Although it is unclear of both the couple’s current relationship, it was made clear by the Beckhams that they weren’t going to take sides between Prince Harry and his brother Prince William [and Kate Middleton].
