With shelter in place orders still in place in several states, many churches have taken their services online. Joel Osteen is gearing up for a special virtual Easter service with the help of some A-List celebrities. Mariah Carey and Kanye West will perform remotely for Osteen’s congregation of Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas.
The online service will take place Sunday April 12th at 8:30am and 11am.
Kanye West and his Sunday Service choir will perform remotely from Los Angeles and Mariah Carey will perform her hit single “Hero”.Tyler Perry is also set to deliver a powerful message to the congregation.
Lakewood Church originally called Lakewood Baptist Church is now a non-denominational church that serves as a church home to over 52,000 church members a week. The church offers four English services and two Spanish services. Aside from Joel Osteen being the pastor, his wife Victor serves as a co – pastor.
