We may be in a pandemic, but that isn’t stopping us from celebrating our culture! Every year, BET holds their annual Hip Hop Awards which consists of cyphers, performances, and absolutely nothing you want to miss.

Usually the awards would take place in Atlanta with red carpets, interviewers and dozens of screaming fans. But of course, miss rona didn’t let that happen this year. Everything was virtual but, that didn’t stop the hype!

In case you missed the event, here is a list of all the winners from last night.

  • Hip-Hop Artist of the Year: Megan Thee Stallion
  • Best Hip-Hop Video: Future feat. Drake, “Life is Good”
  • Song of the Year: Roddy Rich, “The Box”
  • Hip-Hop Album of the Year: Roddy Rich, Please Excuse Me For Being Antisocial
  • Best Collaboration: Megan Thee Stallion feat. Beyonce, “Savage”
  • Best Duo or Group: Chris Brown and Young Thug 
  • Best New Hip-Hop Artist: Pop Smoke
  • Best Live Performer: Travis Scott
  • Lyricist of the Year: Rapsody
  • Video Director of the Year: Teyana “Spike Tee” Taylor
  • DJ of the Year: D-Nice
  • Producer of the Year: Hit-Boy
  • Hustler of the Year: Megan Thee Stallion
  • Best Hip-Hop Platform: The Joe Budden Podcast
  • Best Featured Verse: Beyonce, “Savage (Remix)”
  • Impact Track: Lil Baby, “The Bigger Picture”
  • Best International Flow: Stormzy (U.K)
