The Duchess of York has made a point of getting to people to go for regular check-ups as she reveals her news of being diagnosed with breast cancer after a routine scan.
The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, recently shared her recent experience of going for a routine mammogram after his sister insisted she should make an appointment.
After heading to London’s Royal Free Hospital, she discovered at the NHS appointment, that there was a ‘’shadow’’ on the scan, meaning she needed to seek immediate treatment and get it ‘’immediately sorted’’.
Despite not originally wanting to go to the appointment, she has spoken recently on her podcast pleading with listeners of the audio series, ‘’every single person that is listening…to go get checked, go get screened’’.
A spokesperson has said that the Duchess is ‘’receiving the best medical care, and her doctors have told her that the prognosis is good’’.
It is believed that the Duchess is now back in Windsor, taking time with family and resting after a recent ‘’successful surgery’’.
