As announced on social media by Pop Smoke’s manager Steven Victor, the album will be available on all streaming platforms on June 12th.
News of the posthumous album arrives after Victor disclosed just last week that new projects will be released throughout the next year, including a Pop Smoke documentary. “Throughout the next year we will be sharing new music, as we continue to build Pop’s legacy. In conjunction with his estate we will be making formal announcements on his foundation and music projects,” he stated. The family of the late rapper also released a statement thanking fans and fellow artists for their continued support during what has been a trying time.
In February, Pop Smoke was shot and killed during a home invation in Hollywood Hills, California. Less than a month before his death he released his latest mixtape ‘Meet The Woo 2’.
