The Good Place got nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series. This four season show stars Kristin Bell and has an amazing plot and dialogue. It starts off with four humans who adjust to entering heaven, or in other words the “Good Place”. D’arcy Carden who plays Janet in the show also got nominated for Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series.
There’s a reason why The Daily Show with Trevor Noah received a nomination for Outstanding Variety Talk Series. Originally from South Africa, Trevor Noah displays an unique and captivating perspective in many of the events that take place in our world today.

Taking the intimidating task of taking over the daily show from former host Jon Stewart; Trevor Noah has undoubtedly made the transition very easy. Trevor Noah notably incorporates the importance of advocating for the voiceless and raising awareness on important issues.

But as time passes, she realizes there is a whole realm of comedy and humor which she fascinately is admirably good at. Throughout the show, you see her journey in discovering herself and her formerly unknown talent. As well as Alex Borstein (Susie Myerson) and Marin Hinkle (Rose Weissman) receiving nominations for Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series and William Jackson Harper who plays Chidi Anagonye got a nomination Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series.
