Could Tayshia Adams be the next Bachelorette? A lot of fans think so. Back in March it was revealed on Good Morning America that Clare Crawley, 39 would be the next Bachelorette after a long time away from first appearing on the show as a contestant. She was recently involved in the series spin-off Bachelor Winter Games. The series was supposed to begin filming for a May 2020 release. However, because of the global pandemic, filming was paused. Clare’s suitors were also announced and later resumed filming for the fall of 2020.
At the end of July, there was speculation that Clare was recast and replaced with Tayshia Adams. Since then there has been even more rumors on what went down between Clare and the contestants. For example, some people believe that she hit it off with one of her contestants and did not want to film with other people. Fans still want to know what happened and what was going on during the 12 brief days of filming.
Since then, it was immediately speculated that Tayshia Adams would be The Bachelorette. Adams was best known for appearing on season 23 of The Bachelor where she competed for a rose from Colton Underwood. If you didn’t tune in, she was a fan favorite that steered clear of drama and made it almost all the way. When it did not work out, she found love on season 6 of Bachelor in Paradise. Adams sparked a romance with a few fellow contestants but found herself enamored with another fan favorite, John Paul Jones. The two dated briefly and split in October 2019.
According to some fans of the series and its spin-offs, the show had problems with its diversity. Back in 2017 Rachel Lindsay became the first Black Bachelorette in all of the 12 seasons. And most recently Matt James became the first Black Bachelor. This is good news for fans of the show and we wish Adams the best of luck. Will you be tuning in?
