Future Launches COVID-19 Scholarship Fund

Future created the FreeWishes Foundation along with his mother and sister to help make a positive impact on the lives of youth throughout Atlanta. Now, he is taking his campaign a step further by offering opportunities college students during this year’s pandemic.

The scholarship, entitled “I’m Still a Fighter,” is for entering freshman. The requirements are that they must live in Georgia, be accepted into a college or university, and have at least a 3.0 GPA. Students must explain, in detail, how the Coronavirus has changed their daily lives. The amount is up to $2,500.

In a press statement, Future said, “You don’t have to be in the perfect situation or come from the perfect background to reach for your dreams. Despite this COVID 19 pandemic, I encourage all dreamers to continue to dream big.”

The deadline for the application is July 27, 2020. In order to apply, go to https://freewishes.org/2020-scholarship-info. Winners will be announced on August 4, 2020.
