A queen’s work is never done! Beyonce has teamed up with the NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) to give small, black-owned businesses $10,000. The money is to be used to help those who were effected by COVID-19 so they won’t fail.
The BeyGOOD foundation released a statement on behalf of the fund. They stated, “The NAACP is proud to partner with BeyGOOD to help strengthen small business and to ensure economic empowerment for Black businesses.”
In order to be eligible for the grant, business owners must live in Minneapolis, New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, or Houston. They must also show their losses. The deadline is July 18, 2020 and those selected will be notified on July 31.
