There are new rumours surrounding a Spice Girls documentary being in the works.
The new documentary will be made from the creators from Netflix show The Last Dance, which was an inspiring delve into Michael Jordan’s career, with the Spice Girls having the same impact, with their huge rise to fame and their ‘long lasting legacy’.
Mel B (Scary Spice), has previously commented on her excitement to be working with the creators of The Last Dance, and the chance to share their story.
The world – famous girl group was formed back in 1994, with their debut single Wannabe, making number one in 37 different countries, throughout their active girl group years they sold over 100 million records.
According to sources, all five members [Victoria Beckham, Mel B, Emma Bunton, Mel C and Geri Halliwell] of the group will be appearing in the project with exclusive interviews about their time in the band and working together. Mel B has already given a slight insight to what stories will be shared ‘’ the rap in the Wannabe video, I wrote on the toilet whilst the other girls were doing the vocals’’.
The documentary still has a long way to go and there is no official release date yet, but the girls are still keeping busy and set to work on other projects in the meantime, including Glastonbury 2023.
