Contestants are expected to start competing on November 28th. There are expected to be dozens of contestants from 6 continents competing over the 10-day time span. During the 10 days contestants usually spend time in the hosting city making appearances, rehearsing, and competing in preliminary competitions ahead of time. “For many of the more than 90 women who are traveling to the United States for the competition, their time in Atlanta will be their first time in America,” said Paula Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, in a statement. “It’s important for us to not just pick a city with the infrastructure to support the influx of tourism, but one that is welcoming and we know will create a wonderful experience for our contestants.” Check this out>>> Kanye Reveals Past Struggles With Alcohol View this post on Instagram Check out all of our Black (including those mixed with African heritage) Queens in the swimsuit round at Miss Universe.
