One Million Petition Signers Say The NBA Should Change Logo to Kobe Bryant

Sports fans have started a petition with a total of 1.5 million signatures to change the NBA logo to Kobe Bryant’s silhouette to honor the the fallen icon. The current NBA logo features former Los Angeles Lakers’ player Jerry West.

The petition was started on change.org by a user named Nick. 

“With the untimely and unexpected passing of the great Kobe Bryant, please sign this petition in an attempt to immortalize him forever as the new NBA logo”, the description stated.

He was surprised that the petition gained so much traction. “The support on this petition has been out of this world.I want to deeply thank everybody who contributed through signing and donating to the petition.When I started this, I didn’t expect much to come out of it, my goal was 100 signatures at best”, he stated.
