Spice Girls fans will be happy to know that Sporty Spice, Mel C, has taken to the Dancing with the Stars stage.
Mel C, 47, has been seen going in and out of rehearsals with her dance partner Gleb Savchenko, and in true Mel C style (and of course comfy for dancing) she sported a tracksuit with colourful stripes, paired with white trainers – soon to be swapped for dancing shoes!
When the brand-new contestants were first revealed, Good Morning, America’s hosts Robin Roberts and Lara Spencer went to the grand reveal over at Disneyland.
Mel C was the first out of the contestants to be announced, stepping out behind a Union Jack flag, she made her entrance in true Spice Girl style.
However, she is not the first Spice Girl to make her Dancing with the Star’s debut; with Mel B joining in on the fifth season and her placing as runner up, it seems as though Mel C has got some big dancing shoes to fill.
She did say that fellow ex -bandmate and ex contestant did give her some advice when it comes to enjoying herself on the show
“She told me, ‘It’s so incredible, you have to enjoy every minute and every moment of it.’’
Mel C is doing well in the competition so far, having just completed ‘Britney Spears’ week, dancing to a version of Britney’s Toxic. Mel wore a recreational look of Britney’s iconic blue air hostess costume, whilst performing the Tango.
