Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort have closed. However, they aren’t letting all their food go to waste during these unprecedented times. The franchise has decided to donate the excess food to food banks.

While closely following food safety guidelines excess dairy, fruit, vegetables, and packaged food were shared with Second Harvest Food Bank.
This isn’t the first time that the franchise has donated food. Both parks have made a commitment to reduce food waste and has donated over 1 million meals each year.
