Amara La Negra is officially a mother of two. Just a few days after posting a video and several photos of her pregnant belly, the Dominican artist officially announced the birth of her babies on Instagram.
The new mom, who gave birth to the twins on March 23 shared an update on the Instagram page she created for the twins.
The babies were born a few weeks earlier than expected and they were required to stay in the neonatal intensive care unit.
“Our Mommy is Finally Going Home Today while we have to stay so we can get prettier and stronger but we will be Home soon,” Amara wrote in an Instagram post.
She shared a live video stream while leaving the hospital without her babies and expressed her emotions.
“I’m not gonna lie, I’m very sad because I have to go home without my girls,” she said.
Amara surprised her followers by sharing that Allan Mueses, a Dominican real estate expert and developer, is the father of the babies.
“Thankful with father God for the blessing of becoming the father of two beautiful twins 👯💖. I will love and protect you with everything. You already have many aunts and uncles waiting to meet you and carry you and a family full of love to share with you all,” he wrote. “Grow up fast and be like your mom and dad, hardworking, respectful, loving, dreamers and fighters.”
Soon after Amara shared the good news, she and the babies were filled with love.
Singer and actress Gloria Estefan congratulated her. “The moment in which your life changes forever has arrived! Blessings, good vibes and happiness for those new lives you’ve brought into our beautiful world…CONGRATULATIONS, girlfriend!! ✌️😘❤️🎶👏👏👏☀️👩🍼👶🏻👶🏻,” Estefan said.
Puerto Rican singer Olga Tañon also joined the congratulations writing, “Blessings love! God protect all three of you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼!”
