Rihanna will perform at the Super Bowl in Glendale, Ariz., on Feb. 12 as the N.F.L. replaces Pepsi, and enters the first year of a new deal with Apple Music as primary sponsor of the halftime show. It will be Rihanna’s first performance since the Grammy Awards in early 2018.
Oliver Schusser, Apple’s vice president for Apple Music and Beats said “We’re excited to partner with Rihanna, Roc Nation and the N.F.L. to bring music and sports fans a momentous show,”. Kanye West has Rihanna fans wondering if he may be involved in her upcoming Super Bowl Halftime performance, thanks to his post and delete he made on Instagram. He didn’t include a caption nor did he make any other post about the possible halftime performance. The two have collaborated on a few songs together, including JAY-Z‘s “Run This Town,” Ye’s “All Of The Lights,” and Ri’s song “FourFiveSeconds,” which also featured Paul McCartney. West also produced Rihanna’s 2015 single, “Bitch Better Have My Money.
