With the Kings Coronation fast approaching, with the official ceremony to be held on 7th May at Westminster Abbey with a performance event happening at Windsor Castle.
As per most Royal engagements, the long list of A-list stars that attend the events are the talks of the town but with the Coronation plans well under way, it seems like we know who ISN’T performing rather than the ones that are.
There are rumours that both Adele and Ed Sheeran are unable to perform on this special occasion, but what are their reasons why?
Sheeran is performing a show in Texas the day before the Coronation so it seems unrealistic for him to make it with flying back to the UK and then everything else that would normally come with show preparation.
However, some have pointed out how in the past he has been known to fly via private jet to get to a location so who knows if there is a deeper reasoning.
Adele is currently performing her Las Vegas residency , ‘Weekends with Adele’ but at the time of the Coronation the shows would have stopped and there are no other shows that she is publicly attending, so again, who knows.
Despite these two famous singers unable to make the performance of a lifetime, there are rumours that the likes of Lionel Richie and the Spice Girls are close to saying yes to making their attendance.
