Former Victoria’s Secret model, Luciana Curtis, and her family were kidnapped at gunpoint and held in a shack somewhere in Brazil after they left a restaurant based in Alto da Lapa, in Sao Paulo.
The police are currently trying to hunt for those behind the crime, after Curtis, her husband and their 11 year old daughter were taken after leaving the restaurant and being held in the shack for 12 hours.
The missing criminals stole the couples car, worth $33,000 as well as stealing money from them and transferring the money to other people linked to a criminal group.
The money is still missing but luckily the 3 of them have now returned home safely.
The family were originally reported missing after their oldest daughter had alerted police after they hadn’t returned from dinner, the police went out to locate them but the family had been released by the following morning.
Following their release, they were dumped in the north of the city and walked until they met locals, who then helped them return home.
The police went to the shack in question but there were said to be no signs of the criminals, which meant no arrests as of yet.
When asked for comments the police said the family were ”presented a very shaken emotional state” but are now apparently doing well.
