After the resurrection of the romance between J.Lo and Ben Affleck, both have been spotted on dates and in romantic activities. But now, the relationship has reached a new level. Affleck was photographed on June 8th in the casino of Wynn, Las Vegas, with a plus-one: J.Lo’s 75-year-old mom, Guadalupe Rodríguez.
“They enjoy gambling together and have done it in the past. Ben had the opportunity to work in Vegas this week and she came out,” a source close to the actor told E! News.
They were both surrounded by camera people and security guards at the casino. “In the past, Jennifer’s mom and Ben were very close. Guadalupe loved Ben. She was sad when they couldn’t work things out years ago,” a source told People. “Jennifer is very close with her mom. It’s very important to her that the person she is with gets along with her mom.”
The source also said that L.Lo really trusts Affleck. “Ben is more traditional and low-key in his values and Jen is into that. She likes that they can go on dates and have fun. She also thinks that Ben is extremely smart and has a lot of great input.”
With their relationship getting more serious, Lopez is now looking to move out to L.A. She had been recently living in Miami, where she was filming a music video. But for the rest of the summer, she will spend her time between L.A. and the Hamptons.
She is looking at schools for her kids in the fall,” the People’s source said, of the star’s 13-year-old twins, Max and Emme. “She is excited about a fresh start and pursuing things with Ben. They will be at their L.A. home soon.”
Ben, 48, and J.Lo, 51, who were engaged for more than a year before calling it off in 2004, sparked reconciliation rumors in late April following her separation from Alex Rodriguez.
