Ariana Grande made her debut this week as a coach for the new season of The Voice on Monday.
Grande expressed her excitement for being in the show but also confessed that she has broken almost all the rules in her contract and has not been following the instructions of producers.
Speaking to fellow The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Ari said she’s basically ignoring her contract entirely.
“I’m obsessed with my team. I talk to them all the time,” she admitted to Kelly.
Clarkson, revealed that Grande is always “sending stuff to the hotel” for Team Ariana.
While that might sound like another contract violation, Clarkson said those things are just examples of who the “Positions” singer is in real life.
Ariana admitted she has been watching the show for years and wanted to be a coach.
She said: “I just love seeing the talent that’s on the show and getting to know these artists and work with them. It’s just, like, a really special experience to be able to share some of what we’ve learned and been able to do in our lives with these artists that are just wanting to do the same thing. It’s a really special opportunity to be able to share that with people. To be in that position is really interesting.”
Ariana came on board on the show when in May it was announced that she would be replacing Nick Jonas on the panel.
